Is recording cover songs, worth the trouble?
I would like to know, or just hear others' opinions on the issue of recording other peoples tunes, or copyrighted material but any and what it'd be involving at the lower or home studio-level produced mp3's or whatever to offer from a website dedicated to self promotion.
How do I register my rapper name?
It's a name which I'm not seeing any other similar names online for the exact spelling I'm using. There's an instance of the bandname proceeded by "The", but I'm not using "the" so technically it's different.

Musicians who offer their talents for free for CD or movie credit
Why do musicians slave themselves for FREE (or for peanuts) just to get their name in a credit roll? I can tell you after having produced a movie that I could CARE LESS what credits (if any) someone has. There's only 2 things I care about: 1) Is the song what I'm looking for and is the quality up to par, and 2) How cheaply can I license it for? Is it within my budget?

Hi, my name is Kake. I'm very interested in getting into the music industry. I want to learn how to make my own beats, produce, and everything else related. I'm considering going to SASE but I'm questioning whether or not this is a could idea. Im sure you learn a lot of great stuff but would it be wiser to just start by interning at a studio and submerging myself into the whole business instead. This could save me time and money. Please share any related stories and advice.
